Jenny was born and bred in Southern Africa with her life starting in Zambia, moving across to Namibia, and finally ending up in Botswana where she has spent the last 15 years. Her passions lie in the bush and its wildlife, and she works in both fields being a professional guide and wildlife artist.

In Botswana there is an annual art exhibition, "Artists in Botswana", and in 2001 her painting of a small boy holding a rooster received the "Highly Commended" status, and in the 2002 exhibition her painting "Spirit of Africa" won best watercolour painting on show. The Museum and National Art Gallery situated in the capital Gaborone bought one of Jenny's paintings for their permanent exhibition.
